7th Award for Fluent Dysphasia
Written and directed by Daniel O’Hara, FLUENT DYSPHASIA has won the Best Fiction Award in the short film competition at the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival in Taiwan.
Following a Commendation at the recent Kerry Film Festival and an award for Outstanding Ability in Film-making at the Busho-Vision International Short Film Festival in Hungary, this is the seventh award won by FLUENT DYSPHASIA, since it premiered at last year’s Cork Film Festival. FLUENT DYSPHASIA stars Stephen Rea and produced by Gráinne O’Carroll and was produced under the Oscailt scheme funded by Bord Scannan na hEireann/the Irish Film Board and TG4 and is the second short film from the team behind the hugely successful “Yu Ming Is Ainm Dom”.
