OSCAILT SHORT 'ROGAIRI' WINS BEST FILM IN CHICAGO
The Oscailt short film ROGAIRI, writen and directed by Thomas Cosgrove has won the prize for Best Short Film at the Chicago Horror Film Festival. The film also picked up the prize for Best Actress which was awarded to Fiona O'Shaughnessy who played the lead role.In other festival news the Short Short film EGGS, directed by James Cotter and produced by Akajava Films has been selected for the Taormina Short Film Festival in Sicily and the Capalbio Cinema International Short Film Festival in Italy.
DEMON, directed by Eoin Ryan has been selected to participate in the 14th International Animation Festival of Brazil, ANIMA MUNDI 2006, Short Films program, that will take place in Rio de Janeiro and in Sao Paulo in July.
The next deadline for the Oscailt short film scheme is July 14th 2006.
