IRISH FILM ‘THE FRONT LINE’ PLAYING IN CINEMAS NOW

THE FRONT LINE, directed by David Gleeson, is currently playing in cinemas across Ireland. The film stars Eriq Ebouaney (Kingdom of Heaven), James Frain (24) and Gerard McSorley (Omagh) in the lead roles and is being distributed by Buena Vista International (Ireland).

Described by the Sunday Independent as a “terrific film .. with convincing performances and visually strong production values”, the film tells the story of an African immigrant bank security guard who turns the tables on Dublin's nastiest criminals when they force him to be the "inside man" on a bank robbery.

THE FRONT LNE is the second film from Irish director David Gleeson who previously directed COWBOYS & ANGELS, which picked up a host of international awards in 2004 including Best Film at the Giffoni Film Festival.

THE FRONT LNE was produced by Wide Eye Films with funding from Board Scannan na hEireann/the Irish Film Board, RTE, the Hamburg Film Fund, Film I Vast, Sandrew Metrodome and Scion Films.

The Irish short film GEORGE, directed by Rory Bresnihan and John Butler will screen in front of THE FRONT LINE.
