Production & Development Co-Ordinator Role Vacancy at the Irish Film Board

Ireland’s national screen agency, Bord Scannán na hÉireann / The Irish Film Board is currently looking to appoint a Production & Development Co-Ordinator to work closely with the core creative team of the Development Executive and two Production Executives.

The position entails responsibility for contracting and monitoring the progress of all projects selected for development funding, including feature films, documentaries and animations, and for the maintenance of the agency’s development files. It also involves co-ordination and recording of the agency’s selection procedures for production funding.

The successful candidate will be an excellent organiser with natural attention to detail, and will have exceptional personal skills. Working primarily to the Development Executive, she or he will be expected to make an active contribution to the discussion and selection of projects, liaising with external consultants and script readers as necessary, and providing feedback to both successful and unsuccessful applicants.

The Production & Development Co-ordinator will be expected to participate in selection panels for short film schemes and to represent the agency at industry seminars from time to time.
