Nominees Announced for the Irish Film Board/NIFTC sponsored Breakthrough Talent Award
The 4th Annual Irish Film & Television Awards are delighted to announce the six nominees for the “Irish Film Board/Northern Irish Film and Television Commission Breakthrough Talent Award”. Six exceptionally talented people will compete for the title.This year’s nominees are:
Aine Moriarty, CEO of the Irish Film & Television Academy, welcomes the continuing support of the Irish Film Board and Northern Ireland Film & Television Commission: “this sponsorship of the Breakthrough Talent Award reflects the way in which both funding bodies have shown commitment to new Irish talent in recent years.”

Of course it is great to be individually nominated but the fact that my co-collaborators have also been nominated means I can enjoy it even more.”
The ceremony will be broadcast on RTÉ One on 10th February 2007 at 9.30pm.
