Galway Fleadh announces Real Deal lineup
The Galway Film Fleadh has announced the lineup for this year’s “Real Deal”, Ireland’s only film financing seminar. The day long seminar, which is sponsored by Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board will take place during the forthcoming festival on Thursday, 12th of July in the Radisson Hotel.Comprising of five sessions the conference, themed “Getting Movies Made in a Merciless Market”, will include debates and discussions on topics ranging from film festivals and the relationship between cinema and television, to case studies like the success of the Irish film ‘Once’ in America. Each session will have a panel of international experts including John Nein from the Sundance Film Festival, Kenneth Turan from the LA Times and Jonathon Zilli from MTV Europe and will be chaired by Ralph Christians and Simon Perry.
