Fis na Milaoise Teoranta, Cinemobile, Ireland's Mobile Cinema, a wholly owned subsidiary company of The Irish Film Institute, invites applications for the position of:
Driver/Projectionist
The Driver/Projectionist will work alternate 7 day shifts
Responsibilities include:
- Transportation of mobile cinema throughout Ireland
- Cinema Projection
- Customer Service
- General maintenance and up-keep of machine
Essential Requirements:
- Possession of a full clean EC (artic) driver's licence
- Applicants must be technically and mechanically competent
- Good communication skills
- Possess a positive working attitude
- An interest in film an advantage
Cinemobile also invite applications for the position of:
Audience Development Officer
This position involves the development of new audiences for film in the regional locations visited by the Cinemobile - Ireland's Travelling Cinema.
Essential requirements:
- A full, clean driving licence
- The ability to promote the organisation through the media
- Track record in marketing and PR
- Proven experience of strategic planning
- A knowledge of cinema and film culture
- The ability to work on own initiative
- A keen interest in local and rural communities
This position requires a good deal of travelling, and an outgoing and energetic personality is essential.
