Successful Short Cut Projects Announced
The five successful projects for the Short Cuts scheme have been announced by Bord Scannan na hEireann / the Irish Film Board (IFB). The scheme is aimed at fostering new talent and encouraging innovative short film making in Ireland.
Successful short films produced in the past as part of the scheme include FRANKIE (Darren Thornton) and NEW BOY (Stephanie Green) which will be screening at the upcoming Corona Cork Film Festival later this month.

Short Cuts is co-funded by the IFB and RTE. These five shorts will premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh next year.
This is the last year for the Short Cuts scheme. The IFB will be launching their new short film schemes at their information event at the Corona Cork Film Festival on Saturday 20th October.
