Signatures and Reality Bites Deadline December 14th

The deadline for the new Irish Film Board short film schemes has been announced. Applications for Signatures and Reality Bites will be accepted until Friday, December 14th.

Signatures, the new IFB flagship scheme aims to encourage strong, original storytelling, visual flair and production values appropriate to the big screen. The scheme also offers an opportunity for producers, directors and writers to work in a professional environment that will bring their experience to a higher level. REF: SIGNATURES

Reality Bites aims to encourage experimentation and a fresh approach to short non-fiction filmmaking. We are looking for something new in the use of the documentary form, whether the projects are journalistic or creative, observational or aesthetic, objective or personal. REF: REALITY BITES

Films for these two schemes can be produced in either the English or Irish language.

The successful short films will premiere at the Corona Cork Film Festival next year.

All applications should be sent with the appropriate Ref on the envelope to:
