Once wins at 2Morrow Festival in Moscow
John Carney's film ONCE scooped another top award, this time at the 2Morrow Festival in Moscow. The award came with a $100,000 cash prize from the sponsor of the festival, the automobile maker Audi.The four day festival which ended Monday was created as a means to promote originality in filmmaking, especially in the arthouse front and as an alternative to the longer-established Moscow International Film Festival.
ONCE also won the Story Award at the festival.
Other winners included Steve Buscemi and Sienna Miller who scooped the Acting Prize for their roles in INTERVIEW which was screened earlier this year at the Galway Film Fleadh.
