My Boy Jack draws 5.7m

My Boy Jack, the Remembrance Day drama which was shot on location in Ireland, drew in 5.7m viewers when it aired on ITV1 last night.

The two hour tv drama which starred Daniel Radcliffe told the story of Rudyard Kipling (played by David Haig) and his wife Carrie (Kim Cattrall) and their grief for their son Jack (Radcliffe) who died in World War I.

The tv adaptation was based on a play written by David Haig. It also aired on TV3 where it got over a 7 share which translated to about 110,000 viewers.
