Programme Co-Ordinator Role: EAVE
EAVE is looking for a Programme Coordinator primarily responsible for the EAVE Film Marketing Workshop and the EAVE Film Finance Forum as well as other EAVE events and seminars. The appointment will begin on March 1st. The post is based in EAVE's headquarters in Luxembourg.EAVE is one of the leading training and development providers for producers in Europe.
It is primarily funded by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union and the Luxembourg Film Fund to deliver high quality training for European film and television independent producers. Over the last decade and more, over 850 producers have graduated from the programme and now form a unique network at the heart of the industry.
Job Description:
The primary responsibilities will include:
* Organisation of the EAVE Film Finance Forum and Film Marketing Workshop (two 3-days-events taking place in Luxembourg) including follow-up of participants and experts, promotion, budget follow-up
* Support in all organisational aspects of the regular EAVE workshops
* Organisation of other EAVE events, seminars and meetings
* Organisation of EAVE selection process and interviews incl. follow-up of applicants and material
The Programme Coordinator will work closely with the EAVE Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive as well as supporting other members of the EAVE team as required
Preferable skills required:
* Good knowledge and working experience in the European film and television industry
* Understanding of the production process, preferably experience in production
* Knowledge and experience in European media training
* Capacity to work in a team
* Fluent English and preferably one or more European languages
* Communication and organisational skills
* Computer skills (MS-Office, Filemaker)
