Award Winning Irish Short New Boy selected to Screen in Soho House London

NEW BOY, the overall winner of Best Film at last year's Dingle Film Festival has been selected by Sir Alan Parker to screen in the three houses of the prestigious Soho House group in the UK later this month.

Directed by Steph Green, it will screen with Mike Leigh's new film Happy Go Lucky at Babington House on Friday, April 11^th and at Soho House on Wednesday, April 16^th and will screen before Lucia Puenzo's XXY at the Electric House in Notting Hill on Sunday, May 4^th.

Produced by Tamara Anghie and Zanzibar Films as part of the IFB's Short Cuts scheme, NEW BOY will screen along with the two other winners of last year's festival The Grass is Greener (Orla McHardy) and Minus (Pavle Vuckovic).

Head Programmer with Soho House, Mandy Kean said "The inaugural Dingle Film Festival was such a resounding success, contributed to by the high standard of shorts entries, skilled, innovative programming of the AD and the enthusiasm of the people of Dingle that we look forward to continuing our DFF connection in 2008".

NEW BOY has also been selected to screen at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival later this month.
