Skunk Fu! to Air on Cartoon Network US

SKUNK FU!, the IFB funded animated comedy action series, has been licensed by Cake Distribution to the Cartoon Network US.  This is the latest addition to their list of prestigious broadcast partners with further deals in this context to be announced in the weeks ahead.

Produced by Irish animation house Cartoon Saloon with Telegael and Cake Entertainment, for Ireland's TG4 and Germany's Super RTL, the IFTA winning animation is currently airing on the BBC, France 5 and Super RTL amongst others.

Speaking about this latest partnership, Ed Galton, MD of Cake Distribution said: "The Cartoon Network broadcast will provide a fertile basis for the further roll out of Skunk Fu! in the United States.  We already knew from our first outing on the Kids WB that our little Skunk has legs and this is the dreamt opportunity to see the series blossom further through much improved exposure to its target audience".

The series, created by Aidan Harte for kids aged six to 12, follows Skunk, a western kid learning kung fu from a wise old Panda in China in order to battle with the evil Dragon and his army of ninja monkeys.
