Irish Film Board Activities At The Berlin Film Festival
Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board will be attending the 59th Berlin Film Festival this year, which runs from February 5th - 15th.
We are organising the following activities listed below to promote Irish films at the festival.
Please let us know if you are attending the festival by filling out and returning the registration form so we can ensure that you receive invitations and information on IFB activities at the festival.
The IFB will be participating in a promotional stand in the European Film Market again this year. We will be sharing a small stand with Film Holland which will used for providing information on Irish films and festivals as well as information on the delegates attending the market.
**Please note that the stand is very small and therefore cannot be used for meetings or as a business centre for Irish delegates at the market.
The IFB will also be producing and distributing promotional artwork and marketing materials highlighting Irish films screening and selling at the festival. In particular we will be producing flyers detailing the times of all Irish films screening in the festival and market. If your film is screening or selling at the festival can you please ensure that you have sent details of your film, screening times and high resolution stills to Suzanne.murray@irishfilmboard.ie ASAP.
The IFB will be distributing lists of Irish delegates attending the festival. Therefore if Irish delegates attending the festival could please fill out the attached form and return to Suzanne Murray (Suzanne.murray@irishfilmboard.ie) it would be much appreciated.
A networking reception will be hosted by the IFB this year at the Movenpick Hotel on Sunday 8th February. Irish delegates are invited to attend. Again please send us your details if you are travelling to the festival so that we can forward invitations next week.
