Irish Doc Creative Chaos Selected for Upcoming International Fesitvals
The Irish documentary Creative Chaos: Round One, directed by Hassan Zbib, has been selected for a number of upcoming international film festivals.It has been selected to screen at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival where the director and producers will be attending. Furthermore, the film has been selected for the International Competition of the 2009 Cinéma du Réel documentary festival in Paris (5-15 March), and the Visions du Réel festival in Nyon, Switzerland (23-29 April).
Creative Chaos: Round One tells the story of a Lebanese director who returns home to his village on the Israeli border after the 2006 Israeli-Hezbollah war and witnesses how people are coping with the destruction and reconstruction.
The film was produced by Bartolomeo Dibenedetto and Jeremiah Cullinane of Dublin-based Planet Korda Pictures, co-produced by Olivier Delahaye of Odelion Films (Paris) with support from Bord Scannán na hEireann/ the Irish Film Board.
It will screen on Friday, 13 February, in Cineworld at 4pm.
