Irish Short Film The Basket Case To Screen on RTE
The Irish short film The Basket Case is to screen tonight on RTE as part of their Shortscreen series.Written and directed by Owen O'Neill and produced by Katie Holly, it received funding from the IFB and RTE in 2006 through the Short Cuts scheme, and has since travelled the festival circuit, picking up the award for the Best Short Fiction Film at the Boston Irish Film Festival in November of last year.
It was Blinder Films first ever short film and is a dark, twisted, comic tale of love, devotion, death and debt, set in small town Ireland.
The Basket Case will air tonight (Monday 26th) on RTÉ 2 at 11:55pm.
