IFB Website Nominated for Best Non Commercial Website

The Irish Film Board website has been nominated for Best Non-Commercial Website at this years Digital Media Awards which take place tonight at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry.

The IFB is competing against Newmedia (CandyCollective website), Dublin City Council (Dublin.ie), Financial Regulator (itsyourmoney.ie), Dara Creative (itsyourtime.ie) and the National Irish Bank (moneyville) for the coveted award which was won by the website powerofone.ie last year.

The black tie awards ceremony will be hosted by Dave Fanning with the Minister of State, Sean Power, T.D. at the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources as the guest of honour.

Launched in 2003, The Digital Media Awards were engineered to raise awareness of the emerging digital media sector in Ireland and more importantly to act as a showcase for the varied dynamic works being created by companies and third level institutions across a broad spectrum of categories in Digital Media.
