Calling All Filmmakers - Submission Deadlines for Galway Film Fleadh Announced
The deadlines for submitting features and short films for the 21st Galway Film Fleadh have been announced and entry forms are now available online. The deadline for Feature Submissions is Friday 17th of April while the Short Film Submission deadline is Friday 15th May.The Galway Film Fleadh which takes place from 7th - 12th July this year accepts feature films, documentary features and short films. While screening at an earlier film festival will not preclude selection, priority will be given to European and World Premieres.
The competitive categories for feature films are Best First Feature, Best Feature Documentary and Best Irish Feature while the categories for short films are Best Debut Short Drama, Best Short Drama, Best Short Documentary, Best Debut Short Animation and Best Short Animation.
Due to the popularity of the Shorts competition, submissions are restricted to Irish short films only.
