Irish Documentary Chippers to screen in the IFI on April 26th
The Irish documentary CHIPPERS, directed and produced by Nino Tropiano, will screen in the IFI on Sunday 26th April as part of their Ireland on Sunday series.Chippers tells the story of Dublin's well-established community of four thousand Italians who have owned chip shops in the city since the 1900's and features archive footage of Dublin city. The documentary has screened at numerous European and American film festivals including the Tessaliniki Documentary Market in Greece and the Boston and Chicago Irish Film Festivals in the US.
Produced by Fall Films, the documentary was produced with funding from the Irish Film Board and Filmbase. It is currently available on sale on DVD in Laser Shop DVD Specialists and will be distributed by Vitagraph in Italy.
Chippers will screen on Sunday 26th April at 13.00 in the IFI
