Irish short films officially selected to screen at IndieLisboa
A number of Irish short films have been chosen to screen at IndieLisboa, the indepdendent cinema international festival which takes place in Lisbon, Portugal from April 23 to May 3.
Of Best Intentions, Atlantic, The Door, Feileachan and Spacemen Three will screen in ‘Lisbon Screenings', a special session on Irish short filmmaking aimed specifically at industry professionals which include sales agents, television programmers and buyers, distributors, journalists, programmers and directors of international festivals.
Of Best Intentions, written and directed by Brian Durnin, the IFTA winning The Door, written and directed by Juanita Wilson and Spacemen Three directed by Hugh O'Conor were all produced under the Short Cuts scheme. Feileachan written and directed by Cecilia McAllister was produced as part of the Oscailt Irish language short film scheme while Atlantic which was written and directed by Conor Ferguson was produced as part of the Short Shorts scheme.
Short Cuts, Oscailt and Short Shorts are funded by the Irish Film Board.
