Free Location Services Available for International Producers
The Irish Film Board's offices in Ireland and Los Angeles offer a one-stop free information service to foreign filmmakers.
We provide comprehensive information about all aspects of filming in Ireland ranging from advice about the financial incentives to film locations, studios, post production facilities and crew availability.
Our services include online databases that are designed to let you find the information you need quickly and easily. The Locations Gallery showcases over 1,000 locations from across Ireland and includes a Google mapping function. The Crew and Services directory provides contact details for individual technicians and facility companies and the Production Company database will help you find an Irish Production partner.
The databases are accessed daily by producers of all types of audio visual content from TV commercials and still shoots to large TV drama and feature film productions.
We also offer a discretionary scouting service to foreign drama producers interested in exploring locations in Ireland. We may also be able to offer a location manager to act as your guide during any initial recce.
