Pusan International Film Festival Announce New Flash Forward Award
The 14th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF), which will take place 8th-16th October 2009, is pleased to announce the creation of a new award entitled "Flash Forward Award".
Flash Forward has the aim of discovering up-and-coming filmmakers from non-Asian countries and to create a buzz among the young film generation with an eclectic collection of first or second films.
10,000 USD will be awarded to the selected film from Flash Forward, and the details are as follows:
- Eligibility
- First or Second features from Non-Asian filmmakers, produced no earlier than October 2008
- Format: 35mm, 16mm, HD (only 24p), Digital Beta, Betacam and Digital Video
- World or International Premiere
- Submission deadline: postmarked by 31 July 2009
