Foireann Codladh Scoops Award at Naoussa International Film Festival in Greece

Danann Breathnach's Irish language short film FOIREANN CODLADH has picked up the Best Editing Award for Róisín O'Donnell's editing at the 6th Naoussa International Film Festival 2009 in Greece.

Written by Guy Fee and starring Tomas O'Suilleabhain, it is a dark Groundhog Day-like comic tale of one man's fight to retain his sanity.

Produced by Aislinn Ní Chuinneagáin of Newgrange Pictures as part of the Oscailt short film scheme the film picked up Gradam Gael Linn award for Best Short Film in the Irish Language at last years Cork Film Festival.
