Irish Short at London Film Festival
The Film Board is delighted to announce that BUTTERFLY, a Frameworks short film directed by Glenn Marshall has been recently selected for competition at the London Film Festival. The London Film Festival is Europe’s largest public film event.BUTTERFLY has also been selected for the Fantoche Animation Festival in Switzerland, Brief Encounters - the Bristol Short Film Festival and the KROK Animation Festival in the Ukraine.
Other Frameworks shorts which were chosen for the KROK Festival include NOSE produced by Trigger Productions, FROM DARKNESS directed by Nora Twomey and REHY FOX directed by Naomi Wilson. All will compete in International Competition.
FRAMEWORKS aims to add to the range and scope of Irish animation. The scheme is co-funded by Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board, The Arts Council and RTÉ.
