The Herd wins Short Documentary Grand Jury prize at Seattle International Film Festival
The IFB funded The Herd, directed by Ken Wardrop, has won the Short Documentary Grand Jury prize at this year's Seattle International Film Festival. The award follows recent selections for the LA Film Festival, The Hamburg International Short Film Festival and the Worldwide Short Film Festival in Toronto. Wardrop's quirky documentary also received an Onda Curta award at the recent Indielisboa in Portugal.
The SIFF jury applauded the film for its "unflinching portrayal of interspecies bonding and its celebration of hopping."
The Herd was produced by Andrew Freedman of Venom Film and received funding from the IFB through the Print Provision scheme.
