Posted: 7th June 2019

The 2019 Sheffield Doc/Fest is now underway with several Screen Ireland-supported projects selected to take part, including Seamus Murphy's A Dog Called Money receiving its UK premiere on Saturday, 8th June in Official Selection.

Sheffield Doc/Fest is the UK’s leading documentary festival, celebrating the art and business of documentary and all non-fiction storytelling. The festival also plays host to the MeetMarket, the world's largest documentary and factual markets and the festival's flagship pitching opportunity,

As imaginative as the creative process it documents, A Dog Called Money is a uniquely intimate journey through the inspiration, writing and recording of a PJ Harvey record. Produced by Blinder Films, A Dog Called Money received its world premiere at the Berlinale in February 2019.

This year's Doc/Fest will also see the following Screen Ireland projects pitching the MeetMarket on Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th June, where selected projects will have the opportunity to meet with top Decision Makers among 300+ international funders, broadcasters, distributors and exhibitors. The 4 Irish projects are among the 62 selected out of 450 submissions:
