Call for applications: Screen Ireland, Young Horizons Industry and Cinekids for Professionals present Producers LINK

Posted: 23rd April 2025

Applications are now open for Producers LINK - a programme for emerging producers of young audience content. The initiative is supported by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, Young Horizons Industry and Cinekids for Professionals.

Producers LINK is looking for diverse, forward-thinking creative producers that want to dive into children’s media culture, get to know like-minded producers and learn how their ideas can deliver something to today’s generation of viewers. The programme focuses on networking and personal development over project development.

Successful applicants will attend Young Horizons Industry, an international co-production forum taking place from 29 September to 1 October 2025 in Warsaw, and Cinekid for Professionals, the professional programme of Cinekid Festival, taking place from 21 to 24 October 2025 in Amsterdam.

The Producer LINK programme creates space to inspire, network and empower creatives to make meaningful and relevant audiovisual content for a young audience. This initiative will cover accommodation (3 nights at each event), lunches, breakfasts and networking moments, accreditations and programme fee.

Producers LINK will:

  • Stimulate the production of high quality children’s content;
  • Stimulate Pan-European co-productions;
  • Offer masterclasses, training, matchmaking; provide new insights, trends and audience information to emerging producers;
  • Provide access to two major events and a consecutive programme specially tailored for the needs of the producers;
  • Offer the involved partners a platform to present their producers, organisation and (if applicable) the funding opportunities in their region.

Eligibility

Eligible producers are emerging producers with an interest in children's audiovisual media content and 1 produced feature or series. Selection is not project-based.
