Call for Applications: Producers LINK 2026

Posted: 7th April 2026

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland is delighted to partner with Young Horizons Industry and Cinekid for Professionals for the 2026 edition of Producers LINK - a programme for emerging producers of young audience content. Irish producers who fit the selection criteria are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for diverse, forward-thinking creative producers that want to dive into children’s media culture, get to know like-minded colleagues and learn how their ideas can deliver something to today’s generation of viewers. The programme focuses on networking and personal development over project development.

The programme will be held on-site starting at Young Horizons Industry in Warsaw from 27th-20th September 2026 and will finish at Cinekid for Professionals in Amsterdam from 20th-23rd October 2026. Young Horizons Industry is an international co-production forum taking place from 28 to 30 September in Warsaw, Poland and is part of the Young Horizons brand. Cinekid for Professionals is the professionals programme of Cinekid Festival, taking place from 20 to 22 October 2026 in Amsterdam. Both partners aim to stimulate the development & production of high-quality kids and family audience content through international talent programmes throughout the year.

The Producers LINK programme creates space to inspire, network and empower creatives to make meaningful and relevant audiovisual content for a young audience. For successful applicants, the programme will cover accreditation, accommodation (3 nights at each event), lunches, breakfasts, workshop package fees and networking moments. The fee does not include travel expenses.

Producers LINK will:

  • Stimulate the production of high quality children’s content;
  • Stimulate Pan-European co-productions;
  • Offer masterclasses, training, matchmaking; provide new insights, trends and audience information to emerging producers;
  • Provide access to two major events and a consecutive programme specially tailored for the needs of the producers;
  • Offer the involved partners a platform to present their producers, organisation and (if applicable) the funding opportunities in their region.

Who Can Apply

Eligible producers are emerging Irish producers with an interest in children's audiovisual media content and 1 produced feature or series. Selection is not project-based.
