Call for Applications: Rotterdam Lab 2024

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland is seeking applications from emerging Irish producers to take part in Rotterdam Lab at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) 2024.
Rotterdam Lab is a training workshop for producers at the start of their career, with the aim of offering emerging international professionals the means to build and develop their network. Providing confidence and skills to navigate the world of international film financing, sales and distribution, Rotterdam Lab annually hosts more than 70 producers from across the world during the IFFR Pro Days. The programme consists of panels and presentations moderated and held by experienced industry delegates, as well as individual advice and expertise from IFFR Pro's extended international network of sales agents, distributors, filmmakers, producers and other film industry professionals. At the heart of Rotterdam Lab is the opportunity for informal networking opportunities between the attending producers that create lasting connections and networks.
Screen Ireland will be offering two emerging Irish producers the opportunity to take part in the Lab from 27th – 31st January 2024, with five nights' accommodation, breakfast, participation in the five-day Rotterdam Lab Programme and CineMart accreditation included. Accreditation entitles the participant to attend all screenings and significant events. For full details on the Lab, please click here.
Candidates should be emerging producers from Ireland who have produced at least one or two short films, and not more than two feature films. Producers who have taken part in the Lab previously are not eligible.

Interested applicants should request interest via applications@screenireland.ie (Subject Line: Rotterdam Lab). A biography/filmography, company profile, letter of motivation and rationale for attending should be included. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm, 10th November 2023.
