Calm With Horses coming to Netflix October 26th

Nick Rowland’s critically acclaimed Calm With Horses is dropping on Netflix in Ireland and the UK this Bank Holiday Monday, October 26th. In a week where the film’s star Niamh Algar was awarded the IFTA for Best Actress in a Supporting role for her portrayal of single mother Ursula, Netflix audiences will be able to enjoy Calm With Horses - which was supported by Screen Ireland - on the streaming platform from Monday.
SYNOPSIS
Ex-boxer Douglas ‘Arm’ Armstrong (Cosmo Jarvis LADY MACBETH, PEAKY BLINDERS) is the faithful and violent right-hand-man to the drug-dealing Devers clan, ready to dole out beatings at the whim of his best friend, and the family’s unpredictable protégé, Dympna (Barry Keoghan DUNKIRK, AMERICAN ANIMALS).
Arm’s struggle to find his place in the world has consequences on his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Ursula (Niamh Algar THE VIRTUES) as she strives to find a better life for herself and their young son Jack.
