Extra Ordinary on UK and Ireland Netflix from today – discover Irish film, TV and animation on VOD and streaming platforms

Posted: 17th March 2020

Today, Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland celebrates the incredible work of the Irish film, television and animation industries at home and abroad with a selection of Irish screen content currently available to watch on streaming and VOD platforms.

With the launch of Enda Loughman and Mike Ahern’s madcap supernatural comedy Extra Ordinary on Netflix today - as well as the TV premiere of Paddy Breathnach’s heartfelt and hard-hitting Rosie on RTÉ One tonight- there is something for all Irish audiences to enjoy over the coming weeks, from feature film to documentary to children’s animation.

We are reminded that, in these extraordinary times, art that makes us laugh, keeps us hopeful, challenges, entertains, comforts or reminds us of our shared humanity is more important than ever before.
