Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland announces a number of new appointments within the Production and Development team

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland (Screen Ireland), Ireland’s national development agency for the Irish screen sector, is delighted to announce a number of new appointments to the Production & Development department.
Celine Haddad has been appointed to the role of Senior Project Manager – Feature Film Lead, and will be responsible for oversight and strategic management of the Screen Ireland feature film slate, through development and production.
Eimear Markey will take up the role of Development Manager and Heather Browning has been appointed as the agency’s Development Executive. As the Development Manager, Eimear will manage the development slate, ensuring that bold, ambitious ideas can progress from development to production and connect with their target audience in Ireland and internationally. In the role of Development Executive, Heather Browning will support the Development Manager providing strong editorial support throughout the development process.
For the past five years, Celine Haddad has worked as Project Manager for Screen Ireland, executive producing feature films including Wildfire, Wolfwalkers, Vivarium, Rose Plays Julie, Animals and Calm with Horses as well as upcoming Irish productions God's Creatures, Aisha and Nocebo. Previously, she was a Senior Film Executive at Creative England for five years working on films such as God’s Own Country, Fly Away After Love, Surge and Pin Cushion and also worked for companies such as Pathé, Passion Pictures and Independent.
Eimear Markey has worked in film and TV development for the last 20 years, as both a freelancer and for a number of Ireland’s leading production companies. Credits include Dead Still, Nowhere Fast and Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope. As Development Executive in Screen Ireland for the last four years, she has worked on a range of projects, including Sea Fever, Deadly Cuts, Wolf, Beards, The Cellar, God’s Creatures, Fantasy Ireland, Smother and The Liberties. She also manages key development schemes such as Spotlight, Screenplay Development and Cine4.
Heather Browning has worked for numerous Irish production companies as a script editor and consulted on a wide range of projects. In 2018, she joined Deadpan Pictures as Development Executive, where she has worked as script editor across the company’s TV slate. She has also worked as a script editor for X-POLLINATOR: INCUBATOR and Screen Ireland’s Spotlight and New Writing Schemes
