Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland appoints Irish producer Niamh Fagan to the role of Project Manager

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland (Screen Ireland) is delighted to announce the appointment of Irish producer Niamh Fagan to the role of Project Manager within the agency’s creative Production and Development team.
Niamh will work across Screen Ireland supported feature film and documentary projects, from production financing through to the market exploitation of these projects.

Commenting on the new role Niamh Fagan commented:
“Because story is central to Screen Ireland’s vision, I am really looking forward to working with as diverse a range of storytellers and filmmakers as possible. Having worked closely with Lesley McKimm across the slate over the last month, I’m really looking forward to getting fully immersed in the role.”
With almost 30 years’ experience in the film and television industry, Niamh produced international award-winning feature documentary Shooting the Mafia in 2019. Directed by Kim Longinotto the film was selected for Sundance World Cinema Documentary Competition followed by Berlinale's Panorama section in 2019 and went on to have a worldwide theatrical release.
Other producing credits include Trouble in Paradise, The Last Furlong, along with Irish language projects Rasai na Gaillimhe series 1&2 and Is Olc an Ghaoth, directed by Tom Sullivan (Arracht) which was nominated for a Royal Television Award for Best Drama. Niamh began her career as an editor working on films with acclaimed directors including Neil Jordan and Jim Sheridan.
Niamh is a graduate of the EAVE Producer Workshop 2013, a member of the European Women's AudioVisual Network (EWA), the Documentary Producers Alliance (DPA) and the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE).
Niamh begins the role effective immediately.
