Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland appoints three Project Managers across Animation, Television and Feature Film

Posted: 3rd July 2026

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland (Screen Ireland) is delighted to announce the appointment of Nora Keely, Sarah Dillon and Tom Hall as Project Managers across Animation, Television and Feature Film respectively, joining the agency’s Production and Development unit.

Bringing a wide range of experience and in-depth knowledge of the Irish and international screen industry, the team will join Screen Ireland at a pivotal time for the Irish screen industry, following a record-breaking year for production in 2025.

Nora Keely is an Emmy and Canadian Screen Award-winning Senior Production and Operations Executive, with over two decades of experience leading large‑scale, multi‑series animation productions across stop‑motion, 2D, 3D, and hybrid formats. Her credits span internationally recognised hits including Blue’s Clues & You!, Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood, Wild Kratts, Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, Paw Patrol, and the Oscar‑nominated feature The Breadwinner.  After two decades of animation production and studio operations in Toronto, she has returned to Ireland with a renewed passion for supporting and championing the animation and production communities here.

Sarah Dillon has over eighteen years-experience in the Irish screen industry. Her previous roles include Development Manager at the WRAP Fund which brought over €20 million of investment to the Western region, where her credits as Executive Producer include Smother, God's Creatures, Two By Two: Overboard, North Sea Connection and Calm With Horses. Her most recent role was Talent Development Manager at Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, where she managed initiatives such as Perspectives and The Voice Directors’ Concept Development Scheme. She brings with her a wide range of experience across development, financing, production and distribution for television, film, documentary and animation, as well as a strong network of contacts from local and international content producers to financiers, sales agents and distributors.

Tom Hall has been a writer and director for film and television for nearly thirty years. In 1996 he co-founded High-Hat Productions with fellow filmmaker John Carney. His selected work includes the Emmy-nominated Modern Love for Amazon Prime, TV shows Northern Lights, Red Rock, Trivia, the no-budget feature November Afternoon and the IFTA-winning Bachelor’s Walk for RTE and BBC Choice. Tom has also worked as a film journalist, a writer of fiction and a teacher of acting, directing and screenwriting in various institutions. In 2025, he was the Arts Council/UCC film artist in Residence. He is a member of the SDGI, The European Film Academy and the Directors Guild of America.

The team will join current Project Managers, Niamh Fagan and Greg Martin, and will report to the Head of TV and Animation, Kate McColgan, and the Head of Feature Film, Keith Potter.

The team will work closely with the Development team to manage and support Screen Ireland’s production and development slate across animation, television, feature film, documentary and emerging formats. Niamh Fagan finishes her contract at the end of October 2026 and will ensure a detailed slate handover with Tom Hall.

All three Project Managers have taken up their roles in June.
