Cannes Film Festival and Marché du Film 2025: Important Registration Deadlines

Posted: 6th March 2025

The 2025 Cannes Film Festival and Marché du Film will begin on 13th May. Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland will be attending this year’s event, promoting the Irish creative screen industry and hosting the Irish Pavilion in the International Village.

A market or festival accreditation is necessary for access to the Marché and festival screenings.

A film professional badge costs €24 (environmental fee) until 1st April 2025. After 1st April, a late accreditation procedure is implemented, generating a non-refundable application fee of €224. This badge allows access to the Palais, International Village and festival screenings. Screen Ireland will not be able to assist with late registrations.

Details on how to apply, as welll as cost and guidelines for other accreditation types, can be found on the Festival's website.

Registration with the Irish Pavilion

Online registration for Irish film industry professionals attending this year's festival to be included in the 2025 Irish delegation will open shortly. Information will be communicated via the Screen Ireland website, social channels and newsletter.

IMPORTANT: Please note that membership of the Irish Pavilion is not market or festival accreditation. These must be obtained through the Festival de Cannes and Marché du Film's official websites.

The 2025 Cannes Film Festival takes place from 13th-24th May 2025.
