Irish animation studio Brown Bag Films nominated for three Annie Awards

The International Animated Film Society has revealed nominations for the 47th Annie Awards, and Irish animation company Brown Bag Films/9 Story Media Group has received three nominations for pre-school shows Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum and Let’s Go Luna.

Receiving two nominations for Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, both in Best Writing – TV/Media for the episode “I am Helen Keller” and in Best TV/Media – Preschool for the episode “I am Amelia Earhart”. Let’s Go Luna also received a nomination in the category Best TV/Media – Preschool for the episode “Dorsay Day/Honey in Paris”.

Screen Ireland is a key supporter of Irish animation, providing development and production funding for Irish animation projects. The Irish animation industry has long been a creative cornerstone of Ireland’s vibrant screen industry and the sector has experienced substantial growth in the last decade – thanks to its international reputation for excellence and its global outlook.
