Julieanne Forde is EFP's Irish Producer on the Move 2026

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland is delighted to congratulate Julieanne Forde, who has been selected by European Film Promotion (EFP) as Ireland’s Producer on the Move for 2025.

EFP European Film Promotion and its member organisations have announced the 20 producers selected for the 27th edition of PRODUCERS ON THE MOVE, taking place during the Cannes Film Festival (12–23 May 2026). The programme will once again spotlight Europe’s most promising emerging producers, who will participate in a tailored series of activities, including project pitchings, one-on-one meetings, curated case studies and networking events designed to foster international collaboration. The programme is accompanied by a comprehensive international promotion campaign, featuring online presentations and visibility in leading international trade publications.

Julianne Forde is a producer and co-founder of Tailored Films. Her credits include The Apprentice by Ali Abbasi which premiered in Competition at Cannes in 2024, receiving Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations. Bring Them Down (2024) by Chris Andrews premiered at TIFF and won Best Picture at Fantastic Fest and Best Debut Director at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA). Hokum by Damian McCarthy premiered at SXSW and will be released by NEON in the US in May 2026. Forde has produced feature films and TV series. She is a member of IFTA, the European Film Academy and the European Producers Club.

Through their diverse company profiles, the 20 selected producers reflect the breadth and vitality of contemporary European filmmaking, spanning different genres, from drama and comedy to thriller, fantasy, documentary, animation, and coming-of-age. This year's selected producers are: Lixi Frank (Austria), Roxanne Sarkozi (Belgium), Constantinos Nikiforou (Cyprus), Dagmar Sedláčková (Czech Republic), Maria Møller Kjeldgaard (Denmark), Marianne Ostrat (Estonia), Daniel Kuitunen (Finland), Julie Billy (France), Philipp Trauer (Germany), Danae Spathara (Greece), Sunna Guðnadóttir (Iceland), Julianne Forde (Ireland), Stefano Centini (Italy), Marion Guth (Luxembourg), Olivia Sophie van Leeuwen (The Netherlands), Ivana Shekutkoska (North Macedonia), Agata Novinski (Slovak Republic), Xavi Font (Spain), Linda Mutawi (Sweden) and Michela Pini (Switzerland).
