New action-packed fantasy animated series Holt to premiere on RTÉ2 this Spring

What happens when three totally mismatched teens from Planet Eire crash-land on an ancient prison planet? Chaos, danger, and the fight of their lives! Welcome to Holt, the brand-new, fantasy, action-packed Irish animated series premiering this April on RTÉ2.
Produced by Igloo Animations and backed by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, RTÉ, and Coimisiún na Meán, this 26-episode fantasy adventure (for ages 8+ and older animation fans alike) is bursting with monsters, magic, and intergalactic mayhem. Roo, Umba, and Metric — three classmates from Planet Eire who barely know each other are thrown together when a freak accident hurls their spaceship off course during a school trip. They crash on Fomoire, a long-forgotten, ancient prison planet teeming with terrifying creatures, hidden secrets, and untold dangers. When all hope seems lost, they meet Jeannie, a mysterious prism who grants them the extraordinary gift: the power to merge into a single, unstoppable super-being - HOLT! But there’s a catch… their fusion only lasts a few minutes before they split apart again. Not ideal when you're fighting off terrifying monsters!
With a dark force called the Blight threatening to consume the universe, our unlikely heroes must survive Fomoire, uncover its hidden mysteries, and rally allies to save their home - because if they ever hope to return to Planet Eire, they must first help save the universe. No pressure!
