Nominees announced for the 2026 RTS Ireland Awards

RTS Ireland have announced today the nominees of the 2026 RTS Ireland Television Awards 2026 / Gradaim RTS 2026. Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland is a proud sponsor of the event, alongside Screen Producers Ireland and Coimisiún na Meán. The RTS Ireland Awards are supported by broadcasters RTÉ, Virgin Media Television, Sky Ireland and TG4.
The RTS Ireland awards recognise excellence in Irish Television production and in Irish international co-productions which were broadcast or streamed on Irish broadcast platforms during 2025. The 2026 Awards will be hosted by RTÉ, with the awards ceremony taking place on Thursday, 16 April 2026, in the Douglas Suite at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.
This year, Screen Ireland is delighted to sponsor the awards' inaugural Short Film category, celebrating excellence and innovation in short form scripted films and animation.
