Now Hiring: The IFB is Currently Recruiting for Three New Roles

Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (IFB), the national development agency for film, TV and animation is now hiring for three new positions including:

  • Inward Production Assistant
  • Production and Development Assistant
  • Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant

Based in IFB’s Dublin office, these roles will involve assisting the Inward Production Manager, Project Managers and the Marketing and Communications Manager, respectively.

Inward Production Assistant
Reporting directly to the Inward Production Manager this role will be to support the Inward Production Manager whose role is to attract mobile film and television production in to Ireland.  The role will assist in project monitoring, project queries, locations recces and the preparation of marketing materials for producers / studio executives.  The role will also assist the Inward Production Manager in the key priorities of enhancing film production in the regions and the Film Dublin Partnership.

Production and Development Assistant
Reporting directly to the IFB Project Manager Team this role will provide administrative support collectively and individually to the three project managers.  It will assist the Project Manager team within a very busy fast-moving environment with administration, filing, contacts, script administration, diaries and processes.

Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant
Reporting directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager this role will provide an opportunity to work across co-ordinating all digital marketing & communications at the Irish Film Board including generating social media content, web content, newsletters, and trailers. The role will also be responsible for creating ideas to increase traffic across all of the IFB communications platforms, as well as managing IFB analytics. The role will assist with preparing website news stories and press releases. Also key to this role will be providing necessary administration support to the Marketing and Communications Manager in a very fast-paced vibrant department.
