Screen Ireland Pre-Application Meetings: October 2026 Production Funding Deadline
Posted: 21st September 2026
In advance of the October 2026 round of Production Funding, Screen Ireland will offer optional pre-application meetings for applicants wishing to apply for Irish Feature Film Production or TV Drama Production Funding.
Producer applicants are being offered the opportunity to discuss their project with a member of the Production team before applying. The meeting may provide feedback as to whether projects are at the right stage for production funding - or whether further application preparation might be beneficial. Screen Ireland will not read scripts or other creative materials in advance of a meeting. These meetings are intended for Fiction: Irish Production and TV Drama Production applicants exclusively, and will be open to the producer applicant on the project.
Please note that projects should have reached an advanced stage of development with a viable production strategy in place. Projects that do not meet the criteria for the relevant scheme will not be considered ready for a meeting.
Pre-application meetings will take place online in early October, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Producers can request a meeting on Screen Ireland’s Online Applications Portal – by applying for ‘Production Pre-Application Meetings’ under the ‘Production’ category in ‘Funding Schemes’.
These pre-application meetings are not mandatory. They are intended as a useful guidance tool for producers ahead of submitting a full application.
Requests for meetings will close on Thursday, 1st October 2026 at 1pm.
