Screen Ireland supported projects Re-Creation and The Wolf, The Fox and The Leopard to receive World Premiere at 2025 Tribeca Festival

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland is delighted to congratulate the creative teams behind Re-Creation and The Wolf, The Fox and the Leopard on their Official Selection to this year's Tribeca Festival. Both films will be receiving their World Premiere at the Festival.
Written and directed by Jim Sheridan and David Merriman, Re-Creation follows a fictitious trial where twelve members of a jury must decide whether British journalist Ian Bailey is guilty of the murder of French filmmaker Sophie Toscan Du Plantier in 1996. Based on real events, the film reconstructs the deliberations of the twelve jury members and presents a case that ultimately invites the viewer to draw their own conclusions. The cast includes Colm Meaney, Jim Sheridan, Vicky Krieps and Aidan Gillen.
The film is produced by Tina O'Reilly and Fabrizio Maltese. Production companies are Hell's Kitchen and Joli Rideau Media, with support from Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, Film Fund Luxembourg, Eurimages, Latido Films and Doha Film Institute. Sales are being handled by Latido Films.
In David Verbeek's The Wolf, The Fox and The Leopard, a feral girl who has spent her life living among wolves is taken on an odyssey through contemporary human life while the threat of climate apocalypse looms. The film stars Jessica Reynolds, Nicholas Pinnock, Marie Jung, Lucas Lynggaard Tønnese, Eoin Duffy, San Shella and Naomi Kawase.
The film, which is written and directed by David Verbeek, is a Creative Co-Production between Lemming Film (Netherlands), Feline Films (Ireland), Deal Productions (Luxembourg), Nukleus (Croatia) and Flash Forward Entertainment (Taiwan). Producers are Erik Glijnis, Leontine Petit and Judy Tossell. Jessie Fisk is the Irish Co-Producer for Feline Films, with other co-producers including Alexandra Hoesdorff, Désirée Nosbusch, Patrick Mao Huang, Siniša Juričić and Dries Phlypo. The Wolf, The Fox and The Leopard is supported by Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland, Netherlands Film Fund, Film Fund Luxembourg, Taiwan Creative Content Agency, Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Finnish Impact Film Fund and Creative Europe Programme - MEDIA. Sales are handled by Level K.
