Update on COVID-19 and Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland operations

Posted: 12th March 2020

Regarding today’s government announcement, Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland are continuing to comply with HSÉ advice on COVID-19, and in the interest of public health, we will be encouraging staff in our Dublin and Galway offices to work remotely. With a business continuity plan in place and remote working already set up for staff across the departments, the agency expects day-to-day operations to continue as normal where possible.

The main Screen Ireland office will close from 6pm tonight until Monday, 29th March. Any meetings will be conducted remotely or via conference line where possible, or rescheduled if not. We would encourage external contacts to communicate via email or phone to the relevant department. Screen Ireland is committed to ensuring any disruption to the work of the agency is minimal.

Screen Ireland and Screen Skills Ireland advise all industry professionals to consult the HSÉ guidelines and recommendations regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

You can find up to date information on the HSE website, and advice on how to proceed if have any concerns or questions about the virus.
