Where to Watch 2023: the Irish films and TV released this year

Posted: 21st December 2023

This Christmas, Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and peaceful New Year.

This year, so many Irish films, documentaries, animated series and TV drama made connections with audiences at home and around the world. Some of these 2023 projects are available to watch at home – and we’ve created a guide to where you can find them, via Where to Watch Ireland.

But don’t forget – you can still catch Irish films on the big screen near you, including Ken Wardrop’s moving ode to the power (and pain) of Christmas – So This Is Christmas or Ireland’s International Feature Film entry to next year’s Academy Awards, In The Shadow of Beirut.

So This Is Christmas

Ken Wardrop’s moving ode to the power (and pain) of Christmas. In Irish cinemas right now.
