Biography
An international media professional with over 30 years’ experience, Alix Wiseman leads 9 Story’s distribution, acquisition & co-production efforts and is based at Brown Bag Films’ Dublin studio. Prior to joining 9 Story, Alix spent a decade at Bristol’s Aardman Animations where she set up the studio’s dedicated distribution division in 2006, leading the efforts on titles such as Shaun the Sheep and Wallace & Gromit. In 2017 Alix was awarded an International Emmy for her work executive producing the 30 minute special Shaun The Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas. Alix started her career in distribution at Channel 4 Television in London, selling live action series such as Father Ted and a large catalogue of factual and drama content, followed by several years at Entertainment Rights (nka DreamWorks) where she worked on IP’s such as Postman Pat and the Barbie franchise TV movies. She is a UK, US and Irish national, was raised in Latin America and speaks French, Spanish and Portuguese.
