Biography
I have been in the animation industry for over 35 years. I am currently the Head of Studio in Elk studios for the last 2 years. The previous 5 years I consulted on pipeline and production with a number of studios including Cartoon Saloon , Aardman, JAM and Giant .Before that I helped set up the CG feature film studio for Boulder Media/Hasbro to accommodate the production of a slate of 3D movies. Previous to joining Boulder I spent 20 years with Brown Bag Films helping them grow from just a handful of staff to over 300 before I left. I headed up many of the technical depts over my years there from Digital Ink and Paint in the early days to Post production, IT and R&D department. I spent the last few years producing TV series and was also a member of the senior management team that ran the studio overall. I started my career in Murakami Wolf back in the 80’s and travelled the world working for the likes of Disney TV , Warners Animation Features and Hahn films before settling back in Ireland.
