When her fiance's father is diagnosed with terminal cancer, British-born Chinese woman RuoXi finds herself forced to leave the bright lights of London and move to a rural Donegal Gaeltacht. This culture-clash comedy drama follows RuoXi as she struggles to embrace and adapt to her new reality, to share a house with her staunchly Catholic mother-in-law and with her own parents' misgivings.
