On Day One, you will find our way around the After Effects interface and learn the terminology used. Once that seems more familiar, you will start with a simple text exercise and exploration of the tool menu. You will also learn how to import files and learn about keyframing and keyframes.

On Day Two, you will move onto masking, parenting, track matting and start to learn about the effects menu and how to add filters, spending some time experimenting with what they all do to various video clips.

Day Three is about keying, learning how to render your work out and using the 3D cameras. You will finish in the afternoon with an exercise designed to test all your newfound After Effects skills which can be specifically targeted to what you will be using After Effects for after the course has been completed.
