The Publicity & Marketing Assets Production Fund is now open for applications

Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland is delighted to announce that a new Publicity & Marketing Assets Production Fund is now open for applications.
The fund aims to support the production of dynamic marketing assets on live action feature films raising the quality of assets produced on Screen Ireland funded feature films. Applicants must be in receipt of Irish Feature Production funding.
The fund aims to encourage producers to plan early and budget accordingly for the creation of marketing and publicity assets to elevate their film at distribution stage. Clear planning in pre-production is money well spent and often reflected in sales and box office returns.
The best marketing outcomes arrive when filmmakers are able to see the value in great imagery and marketing assets to sell their film. Ultimately more people will see a film’s poster or an image from it before they see or hear anything else about the actual film, so it is imperative this first glimpse at a project makes the best impression possible. EPK should not be seen as outside the filmmaking process, but part of the production process.
For smaller, independent productions, hiring a unit publicist is often overlooked when crewing a production as it’s often only thought of as a role for the bigger studio films, where a publicist might be on set daily. However, it is often those smaller independent productions that have more need for a publicist in order to elevate their projects, make noise and cut through the competition.
Producers of live action fiction feature films in receipt of Screen Ireland production funding can submit their applications now.
